School events bring learning to life and help shape our school culture. They help students build confidence, connect with others and celebrate their progress. Events also give families a chance to be involved in school life and share in their child’s achievements.
Our school event may include:
- school orientation days
- sports carnivals
- open day and school tours
- Harmony Week and Book Week events
- excursions and incursions
- performances, concerts or school productions

Book Week
Date: Wednesday 20th August
Time: 2:45pm
Family and friends please join us under the COLA at 2:45pm on Wednesday 20th August for a costume parade and prizes.
Author Visit
Date: Tuesday 2nd September
Time: 9:30am - 12pm
All students will be attending a special book reading by authors Kate and Jol Temple at the Griffith City Library on Tuesday, 2nd September.
Students will travel to and from the library by bus, which will depart from and return to school. There is no cost for the bus transport.
The excursion times are as follows:
- Years 3–6: 9:30 AM – 10:30 AM
- Kindergarten to Year 2: 11:00 AM – 12:00 PM
Please ensure your child arrives at school on time to avoid missing this exciting opportunity.
Father's Day Afternoon Activities
Date: Thursday 4th September
Time: 2:30pm - 3:10pm
